The FUE method is ideal for improving the appearance of existing scars without creating new ones.
Scars which can be improved include scars from previous strip surgeries and scalp and facial scars from accidents or other surgeries.
Dr Griffiths also has experience in using the patient's own beard hair for scar repair which is often the best choice for facial scars and strip surgery scars since the beard hairs are thicker and stronger than scalp hairs and have a higher survival rate in scar tissue.
Beard hairs can usually be extracted from the lower chin area using a small FUE tool without leaving any visible scarring on the face.
